Project Overview
We turned a fragile prototype into a shelf-ready product and built a brand that now leads with clarity, confidence, and scent-driven joy.
The Challenge
AromaTherapist came to us thinking they had a bad engineering partner. What they really had was a prototype duct-taped together from off-the-shelf parts, a dream to launch in six weeks, and a brand that couldn’t decide if it was selling sexy gadgets or mindful self-care for aunties. It was a product with promise—but no path.
Our Approach
We redesigned the core product architecture from the ground up—addressing function, manufacturability, and performance. New airflow channels (we call them gills) boosted scent projection and gave the product a friendly, mushroom like presence. The user experience? Reimagined. The internal tech? Refined and structured for scale. And then came the brand. We took the reins after leadership shake-ups and creative chaos left the brand identity in ruins. We rewrote the brand platform. Redesigned the entire unboxing and onboarding experience. Built a complete new visual world—grounded in intention, beauty, and the pure pleasure of scent.
Deliverables
We delivered over 50 demo-ready seed units, secured global manufacturing partners, redesigned the unboxing experience, built a refined brand platform, and led a complete website relaunch—all aligned to scale belief and demand.
“We knew we had a good idea. Kyle turned it into a beautiful product and an aspirational lifestyle wellness brand.”
Gordon Morton, CEO, AromaTherapist
The Result
The turnaround was total. The brand went from shaky startup energy to polished, partnership-worthy platform, with a 5 year product roadmap, a reliable manufacturing partner, a sharp audience focus, and a few big wins under their belt in year one. We locked in an affiliate relationship with Jordan Page, a 10M+ reach influencer in the Wasatch Front. We also secured a custom scent collaboration with Owlet, the world leader in smart baby tech, as part of a holiday giveaway on their social channels. The week-long social collab became one of their top performers of the year. The Amplifier was then featured in Owlet’s holiday press mailer, sent to top-tier media in tech, parenting, and home.
